The month of October gave some serious blows to Bollywood when some leading and renowned names came in limelight with MeToo controversy. A few of them are: Sajid Khan, Subhash Ghai,  Anu Malik, Rohit Roy, Alok Nath, Chetan Bhagat, Kailash Kher, Vikas Bahl, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Bhushan Kumar. On October 21, 2018 – Music director Anu Malik was suspended from the jury panel of Indian Idol after facing multiple allegations made by his female colleagues for sexual harassment. Same happened with our so-called-sanskari-and-creative personalities Alok Nath and Sajid Khan when multiple allegations were imposed on both for sexually harassing and assaulting. For this, both Alok Nath and Sajid Khan got notice from IFTDA (Indian Film & Television Directors’ Association) and their cases are pending in Separate Courts. In a wake up of MeeToo movement, leading actors Akshay Kumar & Aamir Khan took up a stand and cancelled their shoots with the convicts.

Has #MeeToo Changed Something?

MeToo is a journey towards opposing the wrong. The movement can get hype only when some strict rules will be implemented by the judiciary system of India against culprits, because – as we all know, many cases are always pending and the culprits are not getting punishment. Moreover, our society has to be aware and raise their voice. For now, our society cut off with the people raising voice against wrong!

Opinion

As a columnist, I strongly Support all those Women who showed the courage and raised their Voice against Sexual Misconduct done against them, but I do want that other side should also be listened by the panel in judiciary because All Men are not Rapist.
